As a Lead Connector, he’s currently setting up a Technology Support Group in Wales to help blind and partially sighted people make the most of assistive technology. The RNIB was founded by Thomas Rhodes Armitage, a doctor who had eyesight problems. In 1868, Armitage founded an organisation known as the British and Foreign Society for Improving Embossed Literature for the Blind. This later became the British and Foreign Blind Association.
